Barbed Wire Fencing is a type of fencing wire constructed with sharp edges or points arranged at intervals along the strands. It is used to construct inexpensive fences and is used perimeter surrounding to secure the property. It is also a major feature of the fortifications in trench warfare (as a wire obstacle). A person or animal trying to pass through or over barbed wire will suffer discomfort and possibly injury. Barbed Wire Fencing requires only fence posts, wire, and fixing devices such as staples. It is simple to construct and quick to erect, even by an unskilled person.

Zinc coating on wires can vary from commercial grade to heavy galvanizing (Up-to: 280GSM). Bahuvida™ also offers PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) coated barbed wire which further improves the life of the product. This product is usually offered with both the line wires and barbing wires specification of core wire diameter 1.8MM and outer diameter 2.59MM or 2.6MM.
